Working travel positions in winston-salem. Not a good experience in either hospital in the ED. Looking for a travel position in Greensboro or a well paying Per Diem positon in either area. I am from the east coast. And, find that RN's are not well respected by nursing administation here. Or, at least not in the ED. One break in 12 hours, no place for nurses to sit, poor communications, clicks, teaching hospital-where residents treat nurses as secretaries. Little to no standardized triage system. I't very hard to take. I will be in area for at least 2 years. Need a positive well paying place to work during this time frame. I would greatly appreciate any input. I would also consider working IV therapy, Med-surg, Triage, Ambulatory or as a last resort-back to managment.
