Reuters - A clinical trial for Novartis AG's
experimental painkiller Prexige showed the risk of heart
attack, stroke and death was "similar" to Merck & Co. Inc.'s
now withdrawn Vioxx, U.S. regulatory staff said in documents
released on Friday.
