Hello,

I'm a first time travel nurse and am in the process of researching agencies and such. I would like to know some specifics on what to include on my contract and what/how to negotiate with my recruiter. I've heard that most agencies will not offer certain things unless you ask for it....it would certainly help me if you could give me some examples.

Thank you for your input.

Most companies have their own contracts they send to you. Make sure you read every line and understand everything you are signing. When you talk to a recruiter, verify what the hourly rate they are offering is and make sure it is in addition to your housing, expenses, etc; not including. Every company quotes their prices differently and if you can get that in writing (such as an e-mail), it will help you if the contract doesn't reflect what you've already discussed.
