WOW! Same situations here in AR, Denise. I totally identify....except, we used to have 5 and 6 patients apiece, and now it has gotten as bad as 9 or 10, and this is NOT team nursing! People complain, but they take the patients!! Then management keeps doing it, because the others "handle" it....all while the administration wants to improve patient satisfaction, but is too cheap to pay for nurses.
As far as Florida goes, I started the process to travel there and totally concur with practically feeling as if you are joining the CIA...not to mention hearing horror story after horror story about how it's even worse there! Scary! |
