Do you think it is more beneficial to work in a smaller facility or a larger facility, as far as experience is concerned? |

Larger, metropolitan hospitals or teaching hospitals (those with interns and residents) offer the greatest chance to see and learn standard medical and nursing care. Plus, you are more likely to get the support you need when first get out of nursing school. I always advocate that brand new nurses start their careers in a good teaching hospital. |
