Hello everyone, Razz

My name is Mirjam and I am studying for nurse in the Netherlands. I am in my first year. We have a school project and one requirement is internationalising. So that's how I find this nurse forum. I will tell you more in a new topic about my project and I hope somebody will help me.

Kind Regards, Mirjam

I am Donna RN..NICU. I have been a nurse for ...uhhhh...25 years. I graduate in may, RN-BSN program...finally. Smile Wasn't interested before now but I'm planning on going on for my PNP. I've been working at, clinical leadership class, the childrens hospital here. I love working with the children. There's so much to learn. So when I grow up...I want to be a PNP.

I'm traveling in Tucson, AZ currently but am looking to go to Austin, Tx next. Traveling is OK, the money is nice but I'm looking forward to settling down somewhere soon. Anyone have any thoughts about Austin or specific hospitals there?

Laughing My book " Joys and Sorrows of living with Adult Autism" has a big section on my husband's experiences with nurses. They were not good. I didn't know until 2 years ago my husband was Autistic or I would have prepared the nurses ahead of time! It is my goal to educate nurses in ways to deal with autistic patients. Feel free to go to my website. My book should be out soon. To order from publishamerica.com you will need the ISBN# which is 1-4241-7013-3.
