Does being a school nurse require as much schooling as a RN? It seems like a simpler environment, you wouldn't need to know as much. Has anyone ever worked as a school nurse while finishing up school? |

A school nurse is a licensed RN, so yes it requires as much education as an RN. In my area, school nurses are required to be BSNs. |
