What ever you do, do not take an assignment with Northridge Medical Center in Northridge, California. The floor to avoid is 3- Farr telemetry. They treat their travel nurses like crap(literally). My agency is with Nursechoice also beware because they are not truthful, and the money for Holiday worked they do not want to pay. This was my first travel assignement and I learned to get everything in writing, and to trust instincts when other nurses tell you to beware. |

I AGREE!!!! I did a 13 week contract there last summer, on 3-Farr and I was counting down my days as soon as I started! The staff on that floor was very unsupportive of travelers! My contract at Northridge was actually the first travel assignment I had ever taken, and I almost stopped traveling all together after that....it was a horrible assignment!! |
