I am currently working at Renown in Reno, and my manager yesterday told me they are cancelling mine and another traveller's contracts because they are no longer understaffed in my dept. (PACU). This is my 4th assignment and I have never had this happen before. I called my recruiter and she said she would get back with me. My manager said he may be able to stretch me out through the 23rd of this month, but that leaves me 3 weeks short on my 13 weeks. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? Does my company have to pay me the rest of my contract $$? Word is, they cancelled about 50 traveller contracts in the main hospital. I work in a smaller branch south of Reno. Can anyone give me any advice? |
