Hi, I am starting my nurse training in September and am just finishing the Access course. For one of my assigments I have to write a job profile for a practice nurse. However, I am finding it very difficult to find information on it. Please could anyone tell me:
do you have to be a RGN (as opposed to mental health nurse, etc) to become a PN?
After qualifying, how do you become a PN?
do you need to have worked as a staff nurse after qualifying, or can you go straight into practice nursing?
What is the pay like?
Do PNs visit people at home?
And anything else you can tell me!
