I fell on black ice while walking into the facility to work my shift. Workmans comp is definately involved, I broke my fib and my ankle. the fib is healed and no problem but I've a disability in my ankle now. The Doctor involved told me today that I'll need a desk type of job. I'm upset, distressed and in fear of not being able to work.. This happened while I was planning on doing a LPN to RN bridge. I was told today to put that on hold also as 12 hour clinicial days are not in my immediate future.
I'm willing to go back to school, and work toward something else, but what?
Suggestions Please.... I love nursing and this is hard to think about . |

What about social work? You can still work with patients, but it is not as physical. |
