I worked at Stamford Hospital last year and I didn't like it. Travelers were not treated well at that facility. I know of one traveler that left there after only 3 weeks and I got sick and needed a week off for sugery, which I offered to make up, and they told me that I would be replaced, regardless of having surgery. They didn't need someone who couldn't work when they needed them. And the schedule was a mess. When I asked about it, they told me that I was a traveler and basically they didn't care what I thought or needed. So I left there and vowed never to return. I know of one other traveler who will never go back there either. Their nurse-patient ratios are at times very unsafe. And don't expect anyone to help you if you are overloaded either. they don't help each other, much less a traveler.
