Feb. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Pope John Paul II has recovered from the illness that forced his emergency hospitalization nine days ago and will leave Rome's Gemelli Polyclinic Hospital today, Vatican spokesman Joaquin Navarro-Valls said today.
