Hello all,
I'm Amanda. I will be graduating from Towson University's nursing program Dec 08. I'm very excited. I am actually interviewing for University of Maryland' s R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma center. Next week, i will interview with the nurse managers for the Select trauma IMC and the acute care unit.
I have read "Stressed out about your first year of nursing" by Patricia Duclos-Miller and "The everything new nurse book" by Kathy Quan for tips for the interviewing process. (Greats reads for anyone starting as a new grad)
I am looking for some advice for the interview, maybe thoughts from those who know about the shock trauma units. Any advice on this process or the first year would be greatly appreciated.
